Some names of towns and places: Kuta (seaside resort), Jimbaran , beach of Uluwatu (surfing), Ubud, Besakih, Amed, Volcano Agung, ,Bratan Lake , Medewi beach and Tanah Lot (teple at the seaside).We are at the end of February and the people are preparing the Balinese new year .Villages are making processions to the seaside where they dance ,pray and sing.Then the village will prepare statues (ogo-ogo) and there will be a great parade in Denpasar.We shall also see people visiting temples in the inside of the island and finally at the seaside in Tanah Lot.Two important places: Ubud and Besakih where we cross the history of the island (royal families, caste system).In many places families are making offering in the temple, offering of local fruits such as rambutan, salak, banana, oranges.Also a short cooking lesson where the cook prepares a spice paste with ginger, lemon grass, galangal, onion and garlic.Finally the rice, the main food in Bali,we see nice pictures of rice fields in lowlands and and in the mountains.
